Six Flags Entertainment Expands to Saudi Arabia with Qiddiya City Park
Six Flags Entertainment (SIX) is launching its first international park in Saudi Arabia on December 31, marking a strategic pivot after a 70% stock decline last year. The Six Flags Qiddiya City, located in the Tuwaiq Mountains NEAR Riyadh, will feature over two dozen rides—including Falcons Flight, touted as the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. Adult tickets start at $87.
The project anchors Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic diversification plan, backed by the Public Investment Fund through Qiddiya Investment Co. Knight Frank values the broader Qiddiya City development—a leisure and sports complex three times the size of Paris—at $22 billion. It joins other megaprojects like Neom and The Line in redefining the kingdom’s post-oil future.
